What is Domperidone used for?
Domperidone is used to:

Relieve nausea and vomiting

Treat bloating, feeling of fullness, or discomfort in the stomach

Help with slow stomach movement (gastric motility disorders)

May be prescribed to increase milk supply in breastfeeding mothers (off-label, under medical supervision)
How does it work?
Domperidone works by blocking dopamine receptors in the gut and brain. This speeds up stomach emptying and reduces nausea signals to the brain.
How do I take it?

Usual adult dose: One tablet (10mg), taken 15 to 30 minutes before meals

May be taken up to three times a day, depending on your doctor’s instructions

Swallow whole with water—do not exceed recommended dose
Are there any side effects?
Common side effects:
